Volunteers Needed for LMS Board |
Laramie Main Street is looking for energetic, passionate volunteers to serve two year terms on the LMS Board of Directors. An interest in history, historic preservation, economic development, fundraising, event planning, non-profit management, public relations, marketing and/or small business development is desirable. The LMS Board of Directors meets once a month and sets the long term vision and goals for the organization. New board members will be voted onto the board in July with training and orientation to follow.

Laramie Main Street is proud to welcome four new businesses into the downtown historic district and celebrate the expansion of two more.
Poppy's is a florist and gift shop with a unique array of designer jewelry, softly scented lotions, perfumes, candles and soaps. Their floral arrangements are creative and colorful, perfect for that someone special in your life. Cash Advance Lending, located at 211 E. Garfield offers short-term financial assistance with low rate loans and check cashing services. As they expand, you will be able to wire money from their location and load debit cards for budget planning or travel. Cash Advance is open Monday through Friday, 9 to 6 and 10 to 1 on Saturday. The business is locally owned by 1st Lt. Rusty S.E. Ridley. Rusty isn't new to downtown, his grandparents and great grandparents both operated businesses in the historic district.
